We will also provide you with information to familiarize you with our office and how we handle things like patient privacy.

Initial Examination

Your initial dental exam will take around one hour. The expert staff at Signature Smile Family Dentistry will ask you questions, get to know your oral hygiene routine, and listen to your health concerns. We believe in educating patients and empowering them to make good choices to improve their oral health. We will demonstrate how to properly care for your teeth and make additional suggestions as needed. Our dental hygienist will clean your teeth then Dr. Hilary Prill will complete your examination and make recommendations for proposed dental treatments.

Pain Concerns

We work to ensure our patients feel comfortable, and that includes minimizing their pain as much as possible. If you are undergoing a dental procedure, Dr. Hilary Prill will meet with you to discuss your pain tolerance and create a plan for pain management. Working together, we will treat your dental health problems in a way that minimizes pain and enables you to get back to your life faster.

Personal message from Dr. Hilary Prill ~
I made a vow the day that I was granted my dental license. That vow was ‘To Do No Harm’. Early in my dental career, I prescribed narcotics to patients in pain. In the last 10 years I’ve watched addictions grow and people lose their lives from some of the same narcotics I’ve prescribed. I cannot rest knowing what I have prescribed may have fed an addiction. Without question – teeth hurt. Dentistry can be painful; but non narcotic Motrin can keep it at bay until the problem is addressed. Please follow all instructions and take antibiotics or other medications that I have prescribed as directed and not at your convenience. If you as a patient follows my recommendation IN A TIMELY MANNER, you will not have lasting dental pain.

Dental Insurance

We accept a variety of insurance providers and endeavor to accommodate our patients' request. Please call our office at 321-732-4462 to see if we are currently working with your insurance provider.

Our pricing structure is designed to ensure that patients are able to receive the high quality dental care they deserve. If your dental insurance will not cover all of your dental treatments, we will work with you to identify a payment solution. We are health care professionals first and will work with you to make sure you receive the treatment you need.

Financial Policy

Financial Policy

Signature Smile has implemented a new policy effective Jauary 1st, 2020. We have found that the dental insurance industry has increasingly transferred costs to you, the patient / insured. Insurance plans often require deductibles, coinsurance, co-pays and waitig periods that are unknown to us at the time of service.

At the time of your service we will collect your ESTIMATED patient portion. Once your insurance company pays their portion, if it is found that there is an additional balance due from you, you will receive a phone call. You will have TWO (2) business days to let us know if you'd like to change your form of payment. This will, in no way, compromise your ability to question your insurance's determination with them.
