What to Expect During Your First Visit
Your initial dental exam will take about sixty minutes or so. The staff at Signature Smile Family Dentistry, focusing in general dentistry, will ask you questions, get to know your oral hygiene routine, and listen to any health concerns you may have. We believe in educating patients and empowering them to make good choices to improve their oral health. Our focus on preventative dentistry means we will demonstrate how to properly care for your teeth and make additional suggestions as needed; sometimes, simple diet changes and behavior modifications can greatly enhance your oral health.
One of our dental hygienists will clean your teeth, and then Dr. Prill will complete your examination, making recommendations for any issues that should be addressed, including options for restorative dentistry if necessary.
Pain Concerns
We work to ensure our patients feel comfortable, and that includes minimizing your pain as much as possible. If you are undergoing a dental procedure, Dr. Prill will meet with you to discuss your pain tolerance and create a plan for pain management. The team at Signature Smile Family Dentistry is committed to providing excellent dental care in a comfortable environment where patients can relax and feel at ease. Specials and Financing
We understand that not everyone has dental insurance, and some procedures, such as replacing missing teeth with implant dentistry, may not be covered. That’s why we offer ongoing specials, including:
Our annual Signature Plan, which includes two sets of X-rays, two dental exams (including a $30 copay), two cleanings, and two fluoride treatments (if applicable) for only $360. We also offer convenient financing through CareCredit®, and if you have dental insurance, we will explain our billing process to you at the time of your appointment. We accept most major dental insurance plans, cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
Any additional services will be discounted 15%, and the plan begins the date of purchase for a plan year. All services must be completed within that time frame, and any services not completed are forfeited and not eligible for refund or credit. This savings plan cannot be combined with use of CareCredit® or dental insurance, and cannot be transferred or substituted.
We also offer a new patient special for only $109 that includes any necessary x-rays, complete dental examination, TMJ screening, oral cancer screening, tobacco counseling, and oral hygiene demonstration.
If you are looking for a second opinion regarding a suggested treatment plan from another practice, simply bring us your x-rays and treatment plan specifications, and we’ll let you know if we agree with that dentist at no charge to you.
We also accept most major dental insurance plans and will be happy to explain our insurance billing process to you. Please let the front desk team if your insurance plan has changed since your last visit, and please call us if you’re not sure if we’re in network with your dental insurance plan provider.
